Baby Update-Brevinn at 4 weeks

It's been awhile since I've updated the blog and I need to show off my boys!!!!
Brevinn is now at 6 weeks, I can't believe it! These photographs were taken at 4 weeks, except for the halloween one! Motherhood is fantastic and I am enjoying working from home, I've been busy with lots of design work and also I have an engagement session this Saturday so that will be really fun with these fall colors!!!

Gretchen, what a tiny princess

Gretchen, was our neighbor at the NICU and I asked Beckie(Gretchen's mom) if she would like me to take some photographs of them!!! Of course, what mother would turn down photographs of their precious miracle! Well here are some of my favorites from the shoot!!
Hope all is well with this sweet family!!!

The smile that we caught on camera, how amazing, I just love this picture and I know mom and dad did also, they used it as their birth announcement!!!! How awesome!!!!

Baby Vinn Vinn

Hello Everyone!!
I know I haven't been the best as posting photos of our new baby...but there is a reason!
We have had quite the couple weeks, Brevinn's start into the world was a bit shaky!!
It started Monday Sept. 15th, when I wasn't feeling him move inside me. We went to the hospital at night around 8:30 and they ran some tests and within 2 hours the signs were not looking good so our doctor stated we needed to do a C-section right away.
At 12:04am on Tuesday the 16th Brevinn Greg was born.

He had a rough first day at Bristol hospital, there was a lapse in his breathing around 7pm so that night they rushed him over to UCONN health center ICU.
Since then he hasn't had any other episodes, thank the Lord. However, he was in the ICU for almost two weeks while they finished all of their tests and continue to ween him off of the IVs.
He is home now; he came home Saturday!!!! We are so excited to be home and relaxing with eachother!

Everything has been completely positive so we have every reason to believe he will progress and have no major medical issues!!

Thank you for all the prayers!! Brevinn has been definitely blessed with all those who care about him, and its showing because his health has progressed wonderfully!!

He is our little miracle and we can't get enough of him!

It breaks my heart to look at these photographs again, this was such a scary time in our lives. But Brevinn was soooo good through all of the tests and blood being drawn! He really was a trooper!
